Great property, Awesome staff! Arthur in the lounge was amazing with great cocktails and local tips everyday. Was easily walkable to numerous restaurants and shops and music. Definitely will return!

Great location to everything

The hotel location was great, staff was pleasant, courtyard smelled great and was very relaxing. The rooms were clean and comfy, but the design was super strange. The rainshower in the wall (instead of the ceiling), lighting was terrible, not alot of clothes storage, and dont get me started on the fridge... all these things are small to deal with, Id stay again.

Birthday weekend with family

Can not beat the location- it’s a smaller boutique hotel that is undergoing a change in ownership. Hotel and rooms were clean and the staff is mostly responsive and attentive. There are ALOT of hidden fees at this property- be warned and trying to get your money back for discrepancies between Hotels.com and the actual property are very difficult to navigate and resolve.

Central location, top marks for amenities

We were absolutely elated about staying here. The best location in all of the French quarter. Super close to everything but not in a loud area. Literally worth the price just for location but also clean and modern rooms and a gorgeous courtyard. They also have a filtered water dispenser on each floor and free (excellent) coffee in the lobby in the am. Couldn’t ask for more except this tiny silly detail. The hotel room bathroom doesn’t stay closed by design. It swings both ways like a saloon door and naturally opens while you’re in there. We used a steamer to keep it closed while in use. Other than that very slight comment, we LOVED our stay here and would stay again.

Great located hotel, walkable to all main attractions and streets. Room well decorated, clean and we had a balcony room which was cool to sit outside, however it was a little noisy during the night behind so close to the street. We did enjoy the restaurant (good food, but a little pricey)! They also have a little sitting area in the back with a pool, which was cute and seemed relaxing. I recommend this hotel!

Room was not ready upon arrival, then the concierge quoted us a time when it would be and it in fact still was not ready. Young gentleman at the front desk when we walked in said, “sup”. Not the way someone wants to be greeted, very unprofessional.

A beautiful, friendly, upscale hotel in the heart of it all in New Orleans. Just off Bourbon Street, so not too crazy! Just a few blocks from Jackson Square. Staff is excellent and service is impeccable.

A very safe option located in the heart of the french quarter just a 4 minute walk to Bourbon st. Located on a quiet side street near quaint boutiques and laid back bars, hotel de la poste was a perfect option, we will be utilizing again.
