Disliked: Cleanliness
We searched out this property to house family members attending the sudden funeral. The property was spacious as advertised, but there were multiple cleanliness and comfort issues discovered upon check-in. The first thing we noticed was a strange mattress in the master bedroom closet with the heavily stained cover. With what appeared to be bodily fluids. There were hair beads with clumps of hair on the shelving. Spiderwebs in the corners of the shower, stained and ripped towels, and the barstools were heavily stained. Worst of all we discovered what appeared to be unwashed sheets with blood on them. This is a serious hygiene concern and made us question the entire cleanliness of the home. When an addressed by the host, it was dismissed and we were told that they had photos of all betting prior to check-in, basically calling us liars. The biohazardous sheets forced a family member to sleep on the couch. On further investigation, most of the bedding had either stains or holes in them. The master bedroom’s bottom sheet was actually a duvet cover that was not even large enough for the king size bed. Which caused it to bunch up all night long.There was inadequate silverware, plates and cups to accommodate eight guests as the property lists. Communication from the host even from the beginning was very aggressive with long messages in all CAPS. Overall we were disappointed mainly because of serious cleanliness issues with no concern by the host.
