Casa Ryder Short walk from Marinha beach!

Occupying a plot of almost 5000 square meters, this single storey villa offers a peaceful location just a few minutes walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve, Praia da Marinha.

From here you can pick up the Seven Hanging Valleys (walking) Trail and view the spectacular coastline of the area.



Within a five minute drive are the stunning Benagil caves which you can see by boat, paddleboard or kayak. Carvoeiro is a ten-minute drive (taxis on average €10 to12) and has many restaurants, shops and plenty of beaches to explore. Zoomarine and Slide & Splash are within easy driving distance.



The villa is set well back from the road and offers a private driveway with space for several cars to the front of the house. The villa is surrounded by mature landscaped gardens with palm trees and a large grass area for children to play. There is also a pool table in a shaded spot.



The villa boasts a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast table. The spacious lounge and dining area are well furnished and offers a built in bar, wood burning stove and smart TV. Sliding patio doors lead to the terrace and pool area which has external dining furniture and private kidney shaped swimming pool (8x5m) which can be heated (additional cost) during the cooler months. There are plenty of sun loungers and from this area you can enjoy the view of the gardens.



There are four bedrooms, the master bedroom has a king size bed and en suite shower room. There are sliding patio doors to the terrace and views over the lawn and gardens. A further king size bedroom has an en suite bathroom with walk in shower. There are two further bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other with two single beds which can be zipped together to form a super king bed. This bedroom also has sliding patio doors to a terrace with views over the gardens. These bedrooms share the use of a family shower room. All three bedrooms have ample wardrobe and storage space and benefit from air conditioning.



The villa has several different areas to sit outside so you will always find a place in either the sun or shade or away from the rest of the party just to enjoy a book. The roof terrace offers spectacular views, a great place to enjoy a glass of wine whilst the sun goes down.



There are two restaurants you can easily reach by foot and many more just a short taxi or drive away. Overall, this is a great family villa for those who enjoy a peaceful location.

Lovely villa in a super location, only a couple of minutes walk from the nearest beach and a spectacular cliff walk. The grounds are spacious, with beautiful specimen trees. Very peaceful. Kitchen well equipped, strong wifi, air con for comfortable sleeping. Relaxing around the pool and sipping wine / coffee looking out to sea from the roof terrace were highlights!

Home is located near other gorgeous villas. Place was beautifully furnished. Plenty of dishes, silverware and a variety of glasses. Loved having the pool. The location was perfect for us. Short walk to the beach and the cliffs walkway. We weren’t in the center of a busy town which was great. Stores and restaurants were a few minutes drive that we didn’t mind. Bengal caves just minutes drive away. Swing set in the back. Mattress on the full size bed was hard and uncomfortable for me. The supply of toilet paper was low- only 1 additional spare roll in both bathrooms. More trash bags and toilet paper should have been supplied. Though that is minor. Wi-Fi was good.

Great Villa, excellent location.

Lovely Villa to relax in, has everything you need. Lots to do in the area. Cannot recommend it highly enough. The road to the beach can get a bit busy in August, but Praia Marinha is only a short walk from the villa, and if you go early morning or late evening you will mostly have the place to yourself. Worth a visit.

Great location and villa with all the facilities needed

The villa is comfortable and has all the facilities a family needs, good sized swimming pool that's private - not overlooked, large garden with terrace with views to sea. Short walk to beach and cliff top walks. Very quiet location and remote (for the Algarve). Will need a car to get about. Can recommend local restaurant at top of road, o Rustico Restaurante, very good and typical Portuguese food. Villa host was helpful and attentive, thank you.
