Unfortunately, our family’s stay at Sharon’s property was far from relaxing. While the home itself has potential, Sharon’s excessive and intrusive communication before and during our stay made it difficult to unwind. Instead of feeling welcomed, we felt micromanaged with constant messages, strict instructions, and an overall sense of being monitored, including through the presence of cameras on the property.On arrival, the property wasn’t fully clean — there were dead cockroaches and dusty surfaces — which made the repeated reminders about “leaving the place as you found it” feel particularly unfair. When we politely shared this feedback, Sharon’s response was defensive rather than constructive.After talking with several locals during our stay, it became clear that our experience wasn’t unique; others have expressed similar frustrations with her overbearing approach.If you’re looking for a peaceful, stress-free holiday, we would recommend looking elsewhere. Communication and oversight should enhance a guest’s stay, not diminish it, and unfortunately that was our experience here.
