The Space:
Tiny Charm by Tiny Away sits in the small town of Lake Charm on the Murray Valley Highway and is part of the Charm Collective, a private retreat with gardens, a veggie patch, free-range chickens nearby, and a fire pit perfect for cool, starlit nights.
Just across the road, less than 100 metres away, you'll find a private beach ideal for picnics. The farm stay is near Kerang (19 km) and Swan Hill (47 km), with attractions such as Kerang Lakes, Kangaroo Lake, and Pioneer Settlement close by.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be respectful and courteous to hosts and other guests, especially in shared areas. Let’s respect our neighbors’ privacy and time.
Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny home, the farm, the olive grove, and can even wander across the road to the lake. The following amenities are available with 24 hours’ notice:
- Saltwater pool and spa
- Stand-up paddle boards, bikes, and a canoe
- Guests are welcome to feed the chickens, geese, turkeys, and goats, and enjoy water activities at their own risk.

The Neighborhood:
Tiny Charm by Tiny Away in Lake Charm is part of the Charm Collective, a private retreat near local markets and festivals. Nearby Kerang Lakes offers nature, outdoor fun, and a peaceful escape from the city.
Local highlights include the Pioneer Settlement, Australia’s first open-air museum, as well as the Kerang War Memorial and Kerang Museum. Swan Hill offers great dining options like Niko Niko, Java Spice, The MIRA, Boo’s Place, Peachy’s Bar, and more. The nearby Kerang Lakes system features over 30 lakes, including Lake Charm, Kangaroo Lake, and Reedy Lake, rich in native wildlife.

By public transport:
- Best access is via car/bike, Lake Charm East Rd.
- You can take Vline services, Lake Charm via bus service
- There is also a Vline train service that goes to Kerang, or take a taxi from Kerang Country Taxi 14 Wellington St, Kerang VIC 3579
Other Things to Note:
- No smoking allowed on-site
- All mobiles have weak signal
- Enter the pool and lake at your own risk
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- We have a friendly Border Collie on the property
- Given the rural setting, children are welcome under CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION
- Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival.
- Children under 5 can share a bed with parents. There are no extra fees for children under 12. Rollaway beds and cots are not provided.
Guest Advisory
- Expect sheep, alpacas, and farm animal noises on-site; farm guidelines will be sent before booking—please read and follow them.
Important note:
- No BBQ grill and outdoor fire pits during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present
- Keep an eye out for snakes as as we are situated in bushland areas. For your safety, wear boots and long pants.
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
