Listen to the soothing sounds of a Bald Mountain Stream while relaxing on the back deck of this custom Log Home. Authentic Hand Cut Log Cabin on a park-like 1.5 acre lot located inside the gates of Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure. Located on a quiet private cul-de-sac, this updated home is just three minutes drive (or moderate walk) from the beach, restaurants, golf course, and other amenities.
Enjoy the stream side fire pit surrounded by outdoor swing and custom wood chairs while taking in the peace and solitude of the forest. The main level deck has comfortable porch swings in the front and the back, plus a gas grill, table, and several sitting areas.
Inside this four bedroom home are three levels with plenty of room for everyone. The great room has a large stone fireplace, two reclining leather sofas, a new 51" television, cable, wireless internet, house phone with free long distance, and a Blu-Ray disc player. The newly renovated kitchen is a great place for the whole family to gather. The dining room is located just off the kitchen. Completing the main floor is a Master bedroom with a Queen bed, new TV, and a luxury spa bathroom with a stunning custom designed shower. Peaceful retreat
This was a lovely property; we absolutely loved how peaceful it was with a swing down by the creek and outdoor fire pit. The cabin itself was comfortable and had everything that we needed, with lots of unique touches. The only two disappointments that we had was that the hot tub wasn't filled. It would have been beautiful to sit out there and look over the back yard. Wifi was also spotty. That might have been a good thing though as it forced everyone to disconnect a bit!

Weekend Getaway
We had a great weekend getaway and this property was perfect. We loved the cabin style home, the multiple balconies, the outdoor firepit, the sound of the creek (that the kids all played in) and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely rent this property again!

Great house!
Our group of 8 ladies thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Creek Song. Home was pretty much as advertised, however, on the day prior to coming in, we were informed that we could not use the hot tub. That was a disappointment as that was one of the mandatory items we used in our original search. We were extended a small refund. The resort was fun as we lucked out on a Labor Day luau. Great back yard and creek. Also enjoyed the fire pit and back deck. The resort office, who handled the day to day on this rental, were easy to work with. Would definitely recommend this home.
