We stayed here during Can Ams weekend (July 2025), which is a large rugby tournament. The prices were a bit higher than normal, which I get, but still for what the hotel offers it really doesn't justify the prices. The rooms were nice and I mostly chose it because it was close to the bars. The breakfast could be a bit better, I am not expecting the Ritz Carlton but I have stayed at cheaper hotels in Placid that have the pancake maker machine. The staff were attentive to all needs though and the views are great. I think if you're coming up for a weekend where there isn't a major event going on, you can't go wrong. I kinda like that they still use physical keys.

The bathroom was new, clean with no mold. The fridge was working properly, it was not freezing the food like the previous hotel I stayed. Also, I liked the lobby decoration. The only thing I didn't like was the fridge being inside the bathroom, but it was not a big deal.

Great wedding anniversary
