Surprised to find a modest priced chain that was better than expected. Higher rated hotels in area were sold out. Glad we took a chance on Shilo. It worked out fine.

The staff wasn't very helpful. Gave terrible directions to find out room. We circled the hotel twice before finally finding it not far from the reception desk. I still can't figure out what she meant.

Smelled strongly of cigarette smoke!

We were able to get a first floor room for Our disabled son, but all the luggage dollies were taken and held in people’s rooms, so it was hard for us to get our luggage and items to our room. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and the receptionist could only give us a Febreze bottle to spray in the room. The breakfast was a ‘to go’, and they had a lot of options, but I was hoping for a hot breakfast! So it was a little disappointing!

If you find yourself in K-Falls

Quiet, friendly place to hunker down after a long day out. Great breakfast offering with plenty of choices. And a great playground at Moore Park for the kids.

The hotel was a bit older but well maintained. The area appeared safe and not too noisy with traffic. The staff was friendly. Stayed here to go to Crater Lake.

This property is very dated. The rooms are straight out of the 1980's. The carpeting in the hallways is looks permanently dirty. It was OK but does not look like it had been updated this century.

Why is it 3 star hotel?

The staff didn’t care about the guest checkin at all. I was simply handed over keys to my room, without any details of when’s the checkout, what’s the breakfast time, what are the hotel amenities - nothing. The room was decent. However you can easily hear if anyone was to walk upstairs of your room. No hot breakfast, everything was frozen/to-go type. The room had a bed smell though. As soon as you enter your face will make a frowned expression.
