This is a very unique property in a good way. On a Sunday the restaurant/bar was closed, but looked like a fun place. Our room was wonderful, however we were not aware that it required a large flight of stairs to reach the suite. My disappointment was that there was no one at the front desk to check us in. All attempts to contact help was met with an unanswered phone with a full voicemail. Breakfast was very good and presented well.

Awesome re do

We stayed here many years ago and it was a total dive. The remodel and upgrades they have done are top notch. It's well worth a retry if you haven't been in awhile.

I consider myself a traveler. Big cities and little towns. This place would be at the top of my recommendations for a place to stay. Spacious room, comfortable bed and couch. Our stay was in a suite with our dog. Many choices for the breakfast, delicious dinner and drinks at the restaurant.

The Historic Cow Palace Inn

This historic hotel has been completely renovated…it far surpassed my expectations in regard to amenities and cleanliness. The Tavern restaurant was amazing as well.

I was blown away by the opulence of a newly remodeled "cow town" hotel. It was nice even by Denver standards. Thomas, front desk was incredibly helpful. The suite has a shower bigger than most bathrooms and a claw foot tub!
