We paid to stay for 6 day’s but we only stayed for 3 days all 3 days there was no housekeeping and 2nd day was up until after 1am listening to loud construction going on inside building checked out 3 days early and just ate the 3 days left that were no refundable but didn’t care due to it being that bad of an experience. Staff was fantastic but that’s about it

Great Stay at Mactan Grand Golden Hotel.

My stay at Mactan Grand Golden Hotel was amazing. Friendly Staff. Great facilities and cute unique restaurant upstairs. I love the whole set up. I wish the Hotel located near malls in walking distance or any convenient store nearby, would been much better. It was rained when we stayed there so the street was flooded. Other than that it was amazing and the staff are so quick to get there when you need something. Highly recommended.

Great for Family!

I booked rooms not just for me but for my family. They all like the place and their rooms. All the staff are very polite and kind, especially the students who helped us with our luggage. I had an issue with the sink because it was leaking, and one of the bedsheets had a stain. There was a flood on the road before the hotel, but it wasn't that bad, and thank God it hadn't been raining for days. The hotel is elevated, so you don't have to worry about flooding on your way. I will still recommend this hotel because it is close to the airport. You can see the airport from their restaurant on top.

As of June 2025, a fairly new property and quite modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The TV was essentially unusable to an English speaker and it seems their primary clientele is South Korean? But that is a very minor thing to me. It was clean, quiet, safe and comfortable. I will probably stay there again on my future trips.

The hotel has ample supplies of toiletries, coffee, water and the towels were top of the line and beddings. The room was very clean and spacious specially the bathroom, better than some 4-5 star hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff were very happy to serve. They always answer the phone everytime you call the desk, and service is very prompt. The location is in the middle of residential area, makes it hard to find for some taxis and the hotel is new. I’ll give it a 10/10.
