I actually did not stay at this property. On a 4000 mile road trip this was by far the worst experience. Made reservations online while driving through the Expedia website. When I arrived and checked in realized that this property was totally misrepresented online. Outside was rundown, people working on cars in parking lot, loitering around the outside, inside doors to rooms appeared to have been pried open with crowbar, advertised hotel restaurant was actually a rundown sushi bar which was not open. Not advertised as an extended stay hotel which was evident on the Studio Lodge sign. After looking at assigned room I immediately went to the front desk and returned keys (didn’t even take ten minutes) and explained to staff that I did not feel safe and could not stay there. She said she understood and gave me the number to Expedia customer service so that I could request a refund the next day. Expedia contacted the Manager to request approval for refund and manager told them I had lied about the entire thing referring to checking in and returning keys within 10 minutes to check out for safety reasons. She also denied the refund. Even though Expedia offered me a miniscule credit I do not intend to ever book through Expedia again because it does not appear they take an interest in the properties they represent. I would suggest to anyone traveling through Laramie, Wyoming that you stay clear of the Studio Lodge.
