I called and asked what was the earliest check in we were told anytime after 1:00pm
When we arrived we were told no to come after 3:00 pm - Again arrived at 3:00
To wait in a long line with hardly any agents working by the time we got our room was after 4:00pm which ended up being the regular check in time. The rooms were nice and clean. Did pay for an upgraded room.
One key didn’t work so waited again in a long line just to get a new key
Rio is not on the strip sits just behind it but I liked it better so there’s not so much traffic getting in
Problem is the noise. At 2am several people were yelling in the hallway. The walls are paper thin so everything carries in. I didnt sleep well at all and left a day early because of it.
The room was nice, had a nice view. The biggest downfall was the fact that the air conditioner did not keep the room cold at all, i woke up in a sweat everynight. Me and my group didnt use any blankets, and i had to sleep on the floor or small couch because thats where you could sort of feel it blowing. During the summer time its not great. I would definitely consider staying at the rio again during winter season, but unless the fix the ac i will not be revisiting in summer.
