Ta Mill Smithy Cottage in a Stunning Retreat

This cosy stone and slate cottage is a peaceful hideaway, perfect for a romantic break. The living room window looks out onto the pretty stone wall adorned with summer flowers beyond which you can see the sloping gardens which lead to the pond. All on one level, with a low step in shower, the Smithy cottage offers easy access. Enjoy the summer sunshine on the south facing patio area outside. Relax in the new Vita Hot Tub or Swim Spa – available to hire privately for an extra special break.

You will have the entire cottage to yourselves. Ta Mill is secluded rural hideaway set in a private estate of 45 acres with nature trail to enjoy, wildlife ponds to view alongside a games room, pitch ‘n’ putt and children's outdoor play area. There are grazing sheep and alpacas in the fields.
Other things to note
There is ample parking and I will meet you on your arrival date to show you to your cottage.
Book private sessions in our hot tub or swim spa. This is at an additional charge of £25 per sessions or £100 for 5 sessions (sessions are an hour long, max 4 people at the time). The hot tub is situated in the old waterwheel pit which is less than a minute walk from the cottage. Sit back and relax whilst watching the stars above.
We allow 1 dog in this cottage free of charge. You must bring a dog basket with you and please ensure your pet does not lie on the bedding or soft furnishings. When you exercise your dog, it must be under control and you must clean up after your pet. Pets must not be left unattended in the accommodation at any time. ONLY HOUSE TRAINED PETS ACCEPTED- SORRY NO PUPPIES.

Beautiful setting, friendly host

We had a lovely relaxing stay in the Smithy with our 2 dogs, met the owner on arrival, Kamila was very friendly and informative. It's a beautiful setting with an easy going atmosphere, plenty of walks around the grounds and local areas. The new owners have lots of plans for the location and have already made some improvements. We would definitely recommend and stay again.
