Situated directly alongside Lake Erie, this modern twist on cottage life boasts 2 bedrooms (King and Queen), one and a half baths, a small den, and an open concept kitchen and living area (which is equipped with an oversized couch and ottoman that can be used as extra sleeping area). Enjoy the true comforts of home with central air and heating, as well as all new appliances and furniture. Also included is a washer/dryer and a beautiful fireplace to stay cozy all year round. Stay connected with 4 smart tv’s, free Wi-Fi, and cable.
Outside you will find the epitome of lakefront living. Custom created as a paradise, our large patio highlights a distinctive red gazebo with brand new furniture and barbecue. The best is yet to come only a few steps away. Follow the short pathway to our stunning dockside patio and enjoy dinner overlooking the Lake. Elegant rope lighting gives way to an eye-catching view of the shimmering water, ensuring an unforgettable evening.
Our oasis is the best of the rest in that we offer a one-of-a-kind entertainment lounge, situated just outside of the cottage. Bad weather is no excuse for our guests. Challenge your family or friends to billiards, table tennis, air hockey, darts, two arcades, and board games.
Point Pelee is the ultimate nature hub for biking, canoeing, bird watching, and much more. Minutes away is The Erie Shores Golf & Country Club, Point Pelee Karting, Seacliff Beach, as well as several restaurants that serve our locally sourced fish. Visit various local wineries where tastings and tours are always on offer.
Leamington plays prime host to several exciting events all throughout the year. Rental Agreement: Guest must sign a rental agreement and provide copy of their drivers licence. Guest must return the completed agreement and copy of drivers licence within 72 hours after receiving it. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your rental. There will be no refunds given if the agreement is not signed. A $350 offline security deposit will be required, and a link will be sent to you.
Smoking/Vaping: Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the house. Please smoke outside and dispose of all cigarettes butts appropriately in the ashtrays that are provided.
Shoes: We ask that you do not wear shoes inside the house, as it tracks in a lot of things we prefer stay outdoors.
Bugs- We recommend that you come prepared with appropriate bug repellent, such as bug spray, to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience during your outdoor activities. Bug spray can greatly assist in minimizing any inconvenience caused by insects.
Unannounced guests: Prices are quoted in accordance with occupancy of the rooms. We ask that there are no unregistered guests past 10pm. Pre check in form must be submitted - All guest must be registered.
Lake access: There is no direct lake access from the property. Please do not climb over the break wall and on the rocks to access the lake. This is strictly prohibited.
Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linen and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit the towels or linens to be taken from the house. Should you need extra maid service, please contact us to arrange it. Extra maid services would be at an extra cost.
NOISE- GUESTS SHOULD NOT CREATE EXCESSIVE NOISE AT A LEVEL THAT DISTURBS NEIGHBORS. QUIET TIME IS FROM 9PM-8AM
Garbage: Any garbage must be stowed in the appropriate bins. We recommend the garbage is taken out daily to avoid unnecessary odors.
Parking: Please Park vehicles in designated parking areas only. Please do not park on the grass. Any illegally parked vehicles are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
RV plug: The cottage is equipped with a 30A RV plug which is located on the side of the garage.
The cottage is equipped with a backup generator. In the event of a power outage the backup generator will start by itself and will turn off by itself once the power has been restored.
Appliances & kitchenware: Only use appliances for their intended uses. We have provided kitchenware for our guests; we kindly ask that you wash anything that is used. Dish soap and cloths are located under the sink.
Furniture & décor: Please do not move the furniture or decor. This can damage the floors and disturb the atmosphere of the home we have work so hard to create.
OUTDOOR CUSHIONS MUST BE PLACED IN THE PLASTIC STOTAGE BIN AFTER EACH USE AND BEFORE CHECK-OUT. WEATHER CONDITIONS MAY CAUSE DAMAGE, ALSO UMBRELLA PUT DOWN AND TIED. FAILURE TO DO SO, WILL RESULT IN A FEE DUE TO NEGLIGENCE.
Pets: No pets of any kind are allowed at this property.
Towels: Please leave used towels and linens on the floor in the bathroom/laundry room.
Water & septic: DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products or other products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products or other products have been flushed and clog the system, you could be charged damages of up to $1000.
Liability: The owners and property manager (PM) are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowner and PM are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests.
