150% final bill above the reservation price
The Hotel overall "look" was ok. However, we reserved a King size bed and were given a Queen size. It made matters worse when we called the reception and were told that yes, the bed was a King. We have 2 residencies w/ (2) bedrooms each and King size beds in all (4) bedrooms. We KNOW what a true king size bed is. The promotion said the room would come with a complimentary crib. What we got was a portable pen. Who wants their 11month old infant to sleep in a playpen ?? A crib is VERY different from a hardwood base playpen. Ridiculous! The restaurant food was extremely cold and we had to send it back. Our infant didn't even try to eat the ice cold pasta w butter. She did have some of the chicken once it was reheated. We were charged twice for one day of parking. We only ate at the restaurant once. If I am giving it 2 stars is because the breakfast was good. But couldn't help to notice it was part of our reservation and we were charged for 3 days of bfast when we arrived late Friday night and left Sunday morning by 5am. Again, a charge that was included in the room automatically whether you needed it for more than one day or not. Our reservation was quoted at below $600 which is ok for 2 nights but the bill was almost $1k. This is the second time this happens to us w a Marriott reservation. The first time was in Canada. This is our LAST time reserving a room at a Marriott Hotel. No one wants multiple tax and occupancy fees.
