In the heart of the village of Cap-Ferret at the tip of the Presqu'île, to rent a large duplex apartment with one floor, terraced house style. 70M2 for 4 people with private garden of 60M2 without vis-à-vis, and a backyard of 12M2 with outdoor kitchen for grilling and wooden worktop. In a superb Basque style building from the 1930s. Refurbished in 2010 wooden and modern interior. Apartment well located set back from the quiet road with all amenities accessible on foot, by bike or by car. 300M from the ocean. 800M from the beaches of Arcachon Bay, maritime excursions, the center, shops and the market. 1km from the lighthouse, the fishing village and the oyster farming district and 4km from the extreme tip of the Presqu'île. The local child owner and local naturalist guide will welcome you with all the love and knowledge of his country for the best possible vacation. Reservation minimum 48 hours before by phone or minimum 72 hours before by direct online reservation on the site.
On the ground floor, living room with American kitchen of 28M2, bathroom and toilet:
A recent fitted kitchen with rust effect wall tiles reminiscent of the wrought iron staircase. Induction hobs and an electric oven. A Canadian wood stove on the kitchen side keeps food warm in winter.
The living room separated from the kitchen by 1 convivial bar gives directly on 1 picture window with a beautiful perspective on the deep wooden terrace and the raised garden with its small fisherman's hut. The garden furniture with its deckchair, its sofa, its two armchairs and its outdoor bathtub (hot water) under a beautiful vine, no vis-à-vis thanks to the large all-weather awning. All in 1 cozy garden, all 15m deep. Movable electric barbecue.
A small bathroom with large rectangular slate tiles under a white stained wooden ceiling. A corner shower cubicle, 1 heated towel rack mirror and blower, and toilets in a small recessed space hidden by 1 door curtain in bamboo beads tinted mahogany, all on a vitrified floor in exotic wood a Merbo slightly red.
Upstairs, 2 non-smoking bedrooms (fire alarm) with ample storage, 1 dressing room and 1 balcony. The bedrooms are all in wood, natural paneling in Scots pine with mahogany and aged wood furniture, large storage spaces and 1 small library with its secretary. A local decor "Cap Ferret spirit" with or without mosquito net. A very warm and soothing atmosphere where you can add a fifth bed for baby (cot available). The spiral staircase for the first floor is made of wrought iron and wood from the 1930s with full steps, it is very beautiful but narrow. The smaller of the bedrooms is more intimate with 1 large 160 cm wide bed, 1 window facing due west and 1 dressing room. The other, larger with its secretary and its small regional library (photo books on the Basin, didactic and educational books, novels ...) has 1 small balcony which overlooks the garden and the surrounding trees, with 2 single beds of 90 reachable in a large double bed of 180. Non-smoking apartment (ashtray in the garden furniture), pets not allowed.
An incredibly well located apartment for accessing all possible entertainment on foot, by bike or by car.
