Paid quite a lot as the hotel is close to the showgrounds. Room smelt like smoke and the hotel couldn't do anythign as the hotel was fully booked.

Stayed for 3 nights for a business trip, was okay, the breakfast options were satisfactory. They are pretty eco-friendly which is a plus. It was pretty clean and the shower was nice. Clearly well kept hotel, if another business trip to ratingen happens, I would stay again, but maybe take a bigger room next time.

The property was really great and Ratingen is a lovely place. Only thing for me was I asked for an extra pillow 5 times and still didn’t get one. I might be being picky though to be fair. Other than that it was great.

Lovely Town

Hotel is within walking distance of the town centre and has a tram station across the wat ,100 yards which is the U 702 which takes 20 into Dusseldorf.Ratingen itself is a quaint little town with a lovely market square.Only downside to the hotel was no air conditioning especially as we had a heatwave with temperatures in the 30s.Staff were nice and there is a restaurant in the hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel frequently over the last few years, I have noted that the maintenance of the rooms has declined. Curtains requiring re-hanging etc.
