This place was in a super cool, old creepy house which was very charming.
The place was Clean.everything inside worked well.
But up 6 or so flights of stairs? Lugging the luggage up was no easy task.
The shower had only a curtain 1/2 way around it so the water was easy to get everywhere which the floors show with the boards being waterlogged they are bending upwards.
**The communication however, was the most stressful experience I have ever had with any hotel on or off Expedia.
I had NO idea how to check in and get the keys because no one was answering me on the messages on the app. And the listing says to contact them 24 hours in advance to set a time to get the keys.
I messaged 3 times more than 24 hours ahead. And then the morning of, I messaged again so many times, and spent 2 hours on chat with Expedia trying to figure out how the heck to get the keys.
My phone cannot make calls on the SIM card I have in another country.
I finally had to have a friend try a million times to call the number from their actual WEBSITE and the owner was on vacation and had to have his mother meet us to get the keys.
Now, leaving? Same issue! We had no idea where to leave the keys!!! Soooo frustrating.
I still have not heard back if the owners got the keys where we left them.
I would have recommended this place IF the communication wasn’t so stressful!!!!!
