First class!

This place is absolutely amazing. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed and more! Our evening meal was some of the best food we've ever eaten. We also used the wellness facilities which were equally fantastic. Overall a superb place.

Great stay

Had a great stay at Riverside, sat out next to the river and watched the bats other wildlife. Staff are very helpful and serve very nice locally sourced products for dinner and breakfast.

A Real Gem of a Hotel

We were greeted by friendly welcoming staff and provided with comfortable well equipped accommodation. The food was excellent at both dinner and breakfast with a wide choice of well cooked locally sourced produce. The hotel is in a wonderful location with plenty of outside seating.

We had the hayloft that could sleep 3 but was a win for us as a couple. It was in a out building, with easy access to the garden, bar and dining areas, but was a bit difficult to get suitcases over the gravel pathway. Very quiet, lots of space and windows to open. The restaurant meal and breakfast was fabulous.

Unbelievable stay and experience

We were there for one night only and wish we were there longer. It was truly an exceptional experience! The service, the food, the room, the setting etc. of the hotel was just absolutely impeccable. We had a fabulous stay at The Riverside. We stayed in one of the Garden rooms which was perfect in every way with thoughtful details, such as a torch to walk back with after dinner, and fresh milk in our fridge for tea/coffee. What really impressed was the service we received from the staff. Even though the bar and restaurant were busy, the manager and his brilliant young team looked after us so well . We will definitely return!
