The hotel is in a lovely location for a short break even if you don’t like golf. The staff were friendly throughout the hotel. Our double room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. We had breakfast and dinner twice in the hotel. There was a varied choice in the menus.

Junior Suite

Loved our 2 night stay there . We had a Junior Suite which was wonderful with sea view and Juliette windows which opened.. so just like having a balcony. However it transpired when we booked in that there are different types of Junior Suite. The one allocated to us was also wonderful with a separate living are but no Juliette windows . However the receptionist managed to change rooms so we got exactly what we wanted ( and thought we had booked!) Breakfasts were excellent. Buffet starters but main meal cooked to order so arrived piping hot. We also had dinner one night which also was very good. We also used the pool, jacuzzi , steam room and sauna. No charge for residents . All excellent . We are already looking forward to coming back

We had a lovely 2 night stay in a junior suite. Disappointed to see fluff from the radiator just lying on the carpet and a long black hair on the towels in the bathroom rack and another in the bidet. Food fantastic at the hotel and the leisure facilities were excellent

Great hotel

We spent a couple of nights here and really enjoyed it. Staff very friendly and food was really good. Definitely recommend it. We had a great view from our room of the golf course.

Clean quiet room with a beautiful view of the golf course. Great restaurant and patio on site, but town is within easy walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Nice friendly staff, nice bar, restaurant, patio area, nice grounds for walking. Could not watch Scottish Open from my room odd for a golf hotel. Room was a bit plain, no art ect. and room furniture was in need of refinishing .

Good hotel for golfing and beach lovers

No safe or fridge in room. Risotto at Calders was far too salty and peppery. Asked for it to be replaced but still over seasoned. All staff very friendly and helpful.

Lovely location! Not a golfer but might give it a try! Relaxing clean, and comfortable. Pool, gym and Spa facilities really good! Would recommend the Indian head massage and reflexology treatments.

A delightful stay

We had a lovely stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary ❤️. We had upgraded to a Junior Suite which was perfect for our needs. We had a fantastic view of the 18th and enjoyed watching the golfers finish their round. The Spa was great and we enjoyed using the pool facilities. Dinner and breakfast were both very good.

It was a lovely overnight stay. We enjoyed the leisure facilities,the pool area was spotlessly clean,sauna steam room and jacuzzi was great. Our room was terrific,view to the sea,very spacious and a powerful shower. We didnt dine as we had eaten in St Andrews in the afternoon but the restraunt looked nice. Had a couple of drinks and a virw onto the course as the weather was still nice. Lovely place to spend an overnight stay. Will we be back ? YOU BET.
