Bed was comfortable. Carpet was dirty. We found a pill on the floor before our 1 year old did which was good (but unnerving). Breakfast was as expected for this type of hotel. Coffee was good.
Water took 20 minutes to get hot for showers. Floor had not been mopped in forever, extremely dirty. When we were checked in, the room we were assigned had the door open when we got to the room. Pool was not usable and was not disclosed up front. Staff was friendly in general except for one lady. We checked out and left a day early, forfeited the cost of one nights stay. We had to go somewhere else due to the conditions. We travel alot for work, ministry and personal reasons and this was one of the toughest aces we have experienced. I am typically fair in all reviews and do them often. As a previous business owner, I k ow full well the impact of reviews. I dont like gicing negative reviews. This place needs improvement in a big way.
The first room we had smelled musky and like urine! We then switched rooms, but it wasn’t much better. There was no toilet paper or hand soap in the bathroom either. This would not be my first choice for a hotel, but our options were limited.
I expect three things from a hotel room. Always. Comfortable bed, safe (deadbolt lock in the door), and a hot shower. This hotel is rated 8.4 -do not believe it! I had NO hot water for a shower. I had steaming hot water coming from the sink - so hot it could burn your skin.
Buyer beware! You may see multiple listings for a room on Expedia. Watch out that you do not choose an ADA accessible room by mistake. I could not switch when I arrived since I paid through a third party.
No elevators at all, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. Other then that the stay was pleasant, breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable!

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Room could use a major cleaning. A/C unit caused the atmosphere in the room to be super humid to the point that doors couldn’t close. When I tried to call the front desk, the clerk did not answer. When I went to the office, the clerk was walking outside to sit in the shade. There was no one checking in, so he wasn’t busy, he just refused to answer.
The staff was lovely, breakfast was hot. Right next door to a Cracker Barrel and less than an hour from everything we needed to do. I was dealing with alot of stuff on this trip and the folks at Clarion Pointe made it easier.
