Super cute lodging with a great restaurant and bar. Customer service was AMAZING. Absolutely amazing from check-in to check-out. Rooms were nice, but a little inconsistent in upgrade. We had 2 King bed rooms of the same price, however only 1 room had a wetbar area and HVAC cover. These details made a huge difference. Recommend all the rooms updated with these details for consistency. Other than that, cleanliness was 10 out of 10. Location was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel, we will stay again.

We always love staying at the Elwood when we visit the University of Kentucky. The staff is always so friendly, the place is very clean, the parking is so easy and convenient. The rooms are large and very open. We will be staying again this summer One thing we do not like is the lighting in the room. It is so dark and there is insufficient light to get ready during the day. Also, the steamer is not the best. We asked for an iron and ironing board this past stay, which was fantastic. We will do this again. Overall, we love Elwood!

The entire staff was very friendly. I do have to shout out to the gentleman who checked us in (overnight shift) and the bartender during the day. Extremely hospitable and friendly to all guests

Second time staying here. I stumbled upon this little gem a couple of years ago on a trip with my mother. Sometimes, small business hotels are better than chains. This is ESPECIALLY true at this establishment!! Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Communication was great and I had no problem checking in despite being delayed and not arriving until 1:30 AM!! The on-site restaurant is exceptional and the indoor and outdoor settings are exquisite. This hotel is conveniently located just out of dowtown Lexington and within walking distance for some. IT IS SOOOOO QUIET AT NIGHT. Not because of ridiculous rules. Its a well built building unlike many cheap chain hotels. Rooms are very clean, tastlefully decorated, and attention is paid to the small details to make you feel at home. The best part? THEY ALLOW PETS!!! No worries about leaving your fur baby behind. Thank you so much for another great stay. Cant wait to come back again!!!!

Such a nice place! The only complaint is the water pressure. It’s just a trickle in the sink. The staff was wonderful. We had breakfast tin the restaurant which was delicious.
