There’s a lot of upfront fees they don’t tell you. Luckily the lady at the desk gave me a break. Also the laundry facilities are paid which I think is very tacky. The damage deposit is $100 dollars not the usual $50 and they also charge an “early check in fee” which I’ve never been charged. Long story short spend a few more dollars and stay at Spark hotel which is right around the corner. Spark doesn’t charge for laundry, waived my damage deposit because I work in healthcare, and never has charged me an early check in fee. I won’t be back to GuestHouse.

The room was really clean and modern. However, the heater would keep heating past the set temperature to the point where I would just have to turn it off. The bathroom drain was also backing up. The walls are also really thin so you can hear your neighbor's alarm as if it were your own. Breakfast is sugary cereal and stale baked goods. There were no protein options.

Room was very clean, staff was good area was nice 15 mins from UK hospital The place needs updated but very clean and they don’t have an elevator so if you can’t do stairs stay on the first floor

Spotless friendly little hotel. Very quiet. Room was spacious and pristine. Bed was very comfy. Breakfast was basic continental: we really appreciated the fresh fruit (oranges, apples, bananas). Very good value for the price. Highly recommend.

I was very impressed although the toilet was a little sideways, everything else was ok. I have never had to post a 100 dollar damage deposit before at anywhere before. Said it would be put back on card after 5-7 days, we will see.

At first all seemed pretty well. Upon arriving the clerk was super friendly and helpful. Not long after getting settled all you could smell was weed from someone smoking in the hotel. Had to call the desk overnight cause someone in the next room was smoking cigarettes and the smell was pouring through my bathroom into the room. Guess they were smoking in their bathroom under the vent? Not a huge biggie people are just inconsiderate. Not the hotels fault there. However. The next day I woke up with a spot on my face. Thought maybe I was just getting a breakout. The next day I’m covered in bites. All down my face, my arms, fingers, and feet. I start doing some sifting around in the sheets and lo and behold I find what looks to be small bugs. So Ive never dealt with anything like this before and started googling. It’s dang bedbugs!!! Omg! I attempted to find someone that morning and check out only to not find a single member of the staff around. Had to get out of there in a hurry cause at this point I’m totally creeped out. Mind you I’m 900 miles from home. Had to go to the laundromat and wash everything. Set bug bombs off in my brand new car cause I was afraid of taking them home with me. I’m finally home and exhausted. Repeating all the washing and bombing my car cause no way do I want their little friends at home with me.

Nice room, comfortable bed. My only issue was that once I turned on the heat to 68 it never seemed to go off and the room got pretty warm until I finally turned off the heat. Basic continental breakfast without any fruit.
