Haunted hotel with kitchen knives

Me and my husband recently got married in the cambell house. The hotel is beautiful, clean and friendly staff. The food is okay. I loved the burgers. Make sure to go over your receipt though things don’t make sense with vouchers and food and paying overall in the cafe. The reason I won’t be returning to the cambell house is because I was feeling really eerie the last few days of our stay. I googled anything odd that happened in this hotel and to my great surprise the hotel is a haunted site. Atleast that is what Google says. I won’t be returning bc I found two kitchen knives in the shape of a cross laying on the floor of the door next to my room. It freaked me out so bad I made my husband check out at 1pm Friday and we check out 11am Saturday. I have the knives to the staff in the front so they have knowledge someone did that. Amazing wedding. Weird hotel. Thank you guys for the free stay on our wedding night.

Beds were comfy, staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were inconsistent. We had a group of 5 people, each room had different things missing or wrong. Some had a fridge, some had a chair, one was missing a hair dryer. Lack of space in bathroom for toiletries. But the room was clean and again, great bed. Bar/restaurant was great. Shows a lot of promise. Cute decor.

Room was a little smaller than expected. But suggest complaint is lack of lighting and fan in the room. Only lights by came from window and lamp. There was also no ceiling fan an the AC unit would only run for 2-3 min at a time and blow freezing cold air and then turn off for the next 30 min in which time the room with then become a sauna. Location of hotel made me rate this 4 stars. Walking distance to Railbird fest was a huge plus. Hotel restaurant was good as well! Staff were all very friendly.

You pay extra for parking

The bed was the best bed I've ever slept in. However, they charge $12 a day for parking and charged me a $3 fee for a water bottle that i didnt drink(they have one in the room). I dont understand how the rate of the room dosnt include parking but some places are all about getting money money money. I didnt drink your nasty $3 Aquafina bottle(like it costs that much) give me my money back.

Lovely facility. Only issues were with temperature control in room. I never could get it completely comfortable. I’d set it and it would come on and then go off randomly it seemed. It would have been nice to have some counter space in bath to set toiletries, makeup, hair equipment. That was very difficult as there really wasn’t another mirror that I could use for that stuff.
