Nice hotel

Lovely location overlooking the city and easy parking on site. There was a wedding on when we stayed so the noise from the function suite and drunk guest coming and going in the hallway all night was annoying. Our room was adjoined to the room next door and thankfully we noted quickly that neither door was locked, quickly fixed by the housekeeping team but a bit of an oversight.

It had an onsite parking garage for about $10 which was amazing! They gave us the wrong room but quickly fixed the issue. I got a 2 for 1 voucher for the breakfast buffet which was excellent. Even without it’s only $18 per person. The on site bar was great but a tad pricey and closed before midnight. Also walkable to close by restaurants and pub scene. And a super short drive to King John’s castle which was cool. Highly recommended!

Antonio who checked us in was friendly and extremely nice. Made great suggestions on things to do and see. The building is nice and the rooms were clean and spacious.It located in a great area which was walkable to stores and restaurants. Car park is located right next to hotel with a discount rate to use car park. The restaurant staff unfortunately wasn’t as friendly when we stopped in for drinks and appetizers we were treated as if we were an inconvenience. The person seating people asked if we had a reservation which seemed odd to me as the place wasn’t busy at all. Once we informed them we were staying at the hotel we were offered a table. The service was not great it took us asking for water three different times to actually receive it. Out of all the places we ate through out our travels in Ireland this had the worst service. We still left a small tip even though it’s not required as we’re from a country that’s use to tipping.

Food at the restaurant was much worse than any meals we’ve had in Ireland. Skip the restaurant and get food in the city Centre. The Expedia vip benefits are only good for food which was a bummer. Hotel is clean and close to city centre and walkable from Limerick Colbert station.

Had a very comfortable stay, staff were really friendly. Only downside is, I was told I couldn’t get my invoice until checkout, I left at 6am and there was no one behind the desk or around reception so I was unable to collect an invoice but I would still highly recommend this hotel.
