Good hotel in a great location

Somewhat dated, but well-maintained hotel in a great downtown location, near all the top attractions and main drag. Parking garage conveniently located nearby, and not so expensive, as long as you only park overnight.

Good location near trains and buses. Very comfortable bed. Nice restaurant. No air conditioning, but they did supply a fan. Room was not ready at checkin time and had to wait awhile.

Wasn’t happy about people walking into my room at 6am in the morning and what made it worse was when I went out for breakfast I was unable to enter my room very strange that others had access but I didn’t. Staff was apologetic and extended my checkout time which I didn’t need. Would have been nice if maybe they had comped my breakfast at least Maybe this is how hotels are run in Ireland but doesn’t seem very safe or comfortable to be woken up by strangers in your room and then you are denied access to a room with your belongings well before normal checkout. I think I will ask about this policy at the next place I stay at in Ireland

Welcoming stay in a luxurious room

Lovely welcoming hotel. Easy access to public transport and shopping area. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice big bright room with a large comfy bed and a well stocked Nespresso machine. The Rituals toiletries provided added to the luxury of the stay. Little extras in the room were pleasant additions, such as little box of chocolates, slippers & grooming kit to mention a few. Only issues were aesthetic, the lack of doors on the wardrobe and the bathroom could do with being updated. The lack of doors gave an unfinished look to an otherwise perfect room. The decor in the bathroom seemed a little dated.
