As you walk out of the courtyard and exit Museum Court, walking onto Grantham Street, please turn RIGHT, heading towards the high street. When you reach the high street (with Pizza Express on your left) please turn LEFT down the high street and if you walk down about 200m you will reach a Tesco Express. For breakfast, a quick coffee or cake we recommend Coffee Bobbins, turn right up the High Street and it is about 5 stores up. For brunch and lunch we recommend Kine, 6 W Parade, Lincoln, LN1 1JT it has a wide selection and always gets great reviews. For dinner we recommend The Jews House, 15 The Strait, Lincoln, LN2 1JD this is located just up the high street, towards the cathedral, set in one of the oldest buildings in the city and is a must visit in Lincoln.
Local Attractions
Set directly next to the house is The Collection, Lincolnshires county museum and is well worth a visit. The simple answer here is the Cathedral and the Castle and Steep Hill (on the way up the high street) and of course they are must visits. But for those looking to explore Lincoln we recommend bringing your bike and cycling along the river Witham, or just exploring this very flat county. For those looking to explore a little further afield, and preferably with a car, we recommend Doddington Hall & Gardens, the National Trusts Tattershall Castle and maybe even a little trip to the International Bomber Command Centre.
