Alfama Paradise House
The steep streets of Alfama, one of Lisbon's oldest areas, are lined with shops selling traditional crafts and cafes. Passengers pack the historic no. 28 tram, which winds through Alfama on its way up to 11th-century São Jorge Castle. Views from Grace Viewpoint terrace stretch over the city to the Tagus River. In the evening, melancholy Fado music can be heard in some of the area's long-running restaurants. Alfama is by far the most charming neighborhood in Lisbon, everyone is friendly and you´re close to pretty much everything that is worth it to explore! 5 minutes walk distance to Santa Apolonia subway and Train Station, 1 min walkto National Pantheon, 2 min walk to FleaMarket, 25 min walk to Tagus River to the city center, Rossio.
