The place was clean and extremely well located in the old historic town. As it is in the old town, the apartment was dated with steep staircase, small kitchen and living room area and tiny bathroom. More than sufficient for 2 people but the main living space is cramped for any more. There was no air conditioning and fans were ok for the October weather. Host communication was excellent and we appreciated the recommendations for location eateries.

Thank you Carolina for all your advice and for meeting us at the apartment.I think it would be helpful to tell folks its a serious climbto the apartment and once inside the building. We enjoyed the museums but found the restaurants in the area lacking.Bar a breakfast spot....Quase Cafe...which was very good.Thank you and all the best.

Authentic Portuguese Experience

We greatly enjoyed this flat. It was easy to feel enveloped in the Portuguese culture due to the neat and authentic accommodations that are located near plenty of Portuguese shops and tourism. The hosts’ communication was excellent and they answered all our questions graciously and promptly. This stay was a great find and we would gladly book again!

The apartment is ideally located close to many great attractions with a few hidden gems to eat at. Everything is in easy walking distance. The building itself gives you an excellent vibe of old vintage Lisbon. It was a comfortable and clean apartment. The steps up are very steep, but manageable. The property manager at check in was great as well as the owner when we had to communicate with them. Very pleasant and accommodating. Overall it was a nice place to spend a week for our vacation.

Excellent location, great little apartment.

This apartment provided everything that my mom and I needed while we toured the Lisbon area. It was an excellent location for the tram, bus, and train; and within walking distance to so much.

Very good stay all round

Cosy, nicely decorated. Well equipped (e.g. dishwasher, washing machine). Quiet location, but still very close to the sights of Alfama. Be aware of the steep stairs from street level up to apartment itself.

CarLota was very helpful! She greeted us and showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment. She also provided lots of great information about the area and things we may want to do while we were there. She encouraged us to text her at anytime for assistance. The location was perfect for us. Enjoyed the apartment

The apartment was nice and clean. At that point of our journey, we were glad to have access to a washing machine. Just a note, it took 2 days for our clothes to dry in the apartment. We did not hang them outside. That is not a complaint, just an observation. Another observation is the stairs were difficult for us to climb. On the plus side, the apartment was in a good location for what we wanted to do. As noted before, it was nice, clean, and spacious. Overall, we were pleased with everything.

Very nice!

This apt is a great location for touring Lisbon. We walked everywhere, great restaurants nearby along with some Mercados. The apt has 2 bedrooms which is great for traveling with friends. It has a nice sofa, nicely furnished and clean

First time in Lisbon

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The apartment had the two bedrooms promised, although the second one was stuffy with no outside light and no ventilation except leaving the door open. We didn't really understand about recycling as the bins at the bottom of the street seemed to mix everything together and it wasn't clear where to put organic materials. It would have helped to have a container for organic materials. We didn't do any cooking but appreciated having some coffee already there. A suggestion: tell guests that they can take the 12 or 28 tram from the Martin Moniz metro station instead of walking uphill.

Great location!

Loved location in Lisbon. Lots of restaurants and ground transportation available. Challenges are 21 narrow steps up to apartment and very slick shower. Also bed 2 hard. This is more for education than anything. Overall really enjoyed this stay.

Right in the middle of everything you really want to see. Could be hot in the summer, there did not appear to be air conditioning. The check in was great and easy.
