Very polite staff, I always loved talking to them. The room was great and spacious, bathroom was great all with plenty of room. Location of the hotel is very central, close to a metro station which is connected superbly which allows you to travel to many of the must see places in Lisbon.

There are about 8 stairs when you walk in the front door and no one there to help so be prepared if you have luggage. Some of the floors also have stairs so it's really not conducive to bags.

The room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was well worth the small fee. Staff was fantastic- always friendly and smiling. Convenient to the Metro or an easy walk to restaurants and entertainment.

I had higher expectations for this hotel based on its exceptional reviews. But I found it pretty standard. One thing I want to mention for anybody who might be handicapped- is that they do have stairs on every floor. You must carry your luggage regardless of the elevator to get to that level. It’s an unusual set up. I just feel like the hotel was pretty standard-definitely not handicap, friendly and lacked decor. My room only had a half window. I don’t usually rate hotels less than five stars.

Everything about my stay was great. The front desk clerk was able to check me in early. The room was clean and updated. The breakfast was wonderful. It's a block from the Metro. Very safe feeling area.
