Exact location you want to be in - with one major caveat

The apartment is large and in the exact location you’ll want to be in during your stay in Lisbon. It’s one block away from the famous tram route and the Mini Preco grocery store is a 5 minute walk away. It’s well worth to spend a little extra to get this sized apartment in this location. The major issue is you get one key fob (even though this is a 2 bedroom. If you want a second one you have to visit some office and put a large deposit on it. This is incredibly stupid and inconvenient - meaning all occupants have to coordinate when to return to unit. They ought to know that one key fob is insufficient and is super annoying. Accessing the unit was an issue. Firstly, they tell you it’s the second floor (and we were trying to access another person’s apartment. But in Portugal the first floor is floor “0” so by North American standard it’s located on the 3rd floor - there is no floor signage so the property management company should maybe anticipate issues for non-European guests and give more detailed instructions. To access unit you have to call management company - called 3 provided numbers several times each before someone answered. They give you code to building - then had to call again to access unit which was a 15 min struggle with these electronic door knobs. It was alright for us as it was the afternoon but if this were late at night I’d have no confidence that I’d be able to access unit. Why they just don’t use a punch code is a mystery to me. If you don’t plan on having mobile phone access in Lisbon, skip this place as you won’t be able to communicate with management company to access property. If you are mobility impaired this is not the place for you. It’s awkward accessing tub/shower (stepping on sloped slippery tub) and there is a step to get up into bathroom. There is no central AC but two powerful fans are provided and the heat was no issue. Love the washer in unit - drying racks provided - that alone is a huge bonus to book this unit. There are little annoyances (like tap loose on sink not fixed) but overall I’d book again because of location, size and washing machine.

Excellent apartment, terrible communication

The positive: -The unit was extremely clean. -Unbelievable location that was easily walkable to everywhere. -Cute shampoo and towels left in each of the rooms. The negative: -There are no markings on the unit itself as to what number it is so I tried our key in several doors and found annoyed people. -City tax, while mentioned in the listing, was far higher than expected at 270€. -Our wifi wasn't working, and while the initial response was quick they said they would have it fixed over the 6 days we were there and we received no additional communication and did not get it repaired even with multiple messages. That being said, they apologized and made it right for our issues.

Sehr gute Lage, Wohnung etwas abgewohnt

Die Wohnung liegt toll in der Altstadt, fast direkt an die Linie 28 und ganz in der Nähe eines tollen Aussichtspunktes. Nachts ist es dafür etwas lauter, wenn man mit offenen Fenstern schlafen möchte. Leider ist die Wohnung etwas abgewohnt, das Waschbecken im Badezimmer war verstopft. Die Küche ist halbwegs gut ausgestatteten.

Appreciable

L appartement est très propre et bien situé, un peu de bruit la nuit mais bon...c est la ville. Ne convient pas à des personnes qui ont du mal à se déplacer car il y a 2 étages à monter un peu raides (pas signalé dans l annonce) et pas d ascenseur. Sinon appartement bien équipé, manque un peu de couverts,de verres et des poêles neuves.
