The staff are very warm, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and enough for our purposes. The hotel / Inn is located in the middle of Bairro Alto - which is a beautiful, olde worlde, very touristy area. The location then is great for exploring. But note its very hilly with cobbled pavements and lanes everywhere with old buildings and doorways which are pretty pokey. Be prepared for lugging bags up steep hills, narrow doorways and stairwells. Arguably this is half the fun!

There was no view, no air conditioner. Old fashion with a key to lock internally & externally (vs a key-card) Having a passcode to enter the hotel. Wifi was great, the staff were all amazing, special shout out to Joanna, Rita, Sophia & Shayla !!

Pros: We were able to check-in early which was a huge bonus (especially after the walk from the train station and a lot of jet lag) but even if you were unable to check-in early, they allow you to leave your luggage in a locked room until your room is ready. The staff was extremely friendly and even gave us a wine opener since we did not have one. It is also steps from Calcada do Combro - a main street with lots of food options - which was convenient. Cons: The room, doors, bathroom/showers are very small. This wasn’t a huge issue for us since we were out sightseeing and not spending too much time in the room, but I can see how it may be difficult for other people. There’s no AC but they provide a fan and the rooms cool down if you have the windows open (no screens in the windows though). Also a hike from many of the main sights in Lisbon so be prepared for lots of steps and steep hills! They was also a LOT of construction right outside our room (jackhammers from morning to night) so it was very noisy. Overall, a pleasant experience.

A great value hotel. We both had spacious rooms. The hotel is really central, in the heart of the old town. This does come with its issues, as that area of town is noisy. This is no fault of the hotel though. If it is hot, there was a fan in the room, but open windows will let in noise. I wore ear plugs and slept well. The bed in particular was super-comfortable. One minor issue was that my sliding bathroom door needed some attention.

Room with no Air Conditioner, In the amenities description doesn't show it, but with a hotel with an score of 9.0 in Hotels.com, located in a hot city, in summer, you, probably, will assume it, I couldn't sleep for the whole night, for this reason I do not recommend this hotel, neither Hotels.com as a platform

I really friendly welcome. The room was really good value as it was comfortable. The bed especially. It is a noisy part of Lisbon. This is not the hotel's fault.

The place does not have an elevator, so it was really difficult to get my suitcases up and down all of the stairs even into the lobby. They also kept the glass doors closed leading out of the lobby into the building, which I had to squeeze my suitcases through as well multiple times. The breakfast buffet was not good. I would not recommend. The hotel and the surrounding area is a bit smelly. My room and bathroom was very clean, but there is no air-conditioning just a fan.

Un b&b bien situĂ©. Bon rapport qualitĂ©. FenĂȘtre accĂšs Ă  une rue pas trop achalandĂ©e. NĂ©gatif: Matelas des 2 lits simple Ă©pouvantablement pas confortable. Il devrait vraiment les changer . Attention pas d’ascenseur , 20e de marches avec les valises, mais ça se fait bien. Pas de clim . Genre de lumiĂšre qui allume la nuit de la fenĂȘtre au 10 secondes elle pourrait peut ĂȘtre ĂȘtre fermĂ© la nuit . On voit mĂȘme avec les rideaux .

This was the perfect place to stay in Lisboa!!! We were walking distance from the majority of the activities and dinners we had planned. The staff were nice and friendly and the room was spacious and clean. We would definitely stay here again when we return!

Good but not so good. Need improvement

The staff was amazing and the location was accessible, But if you go in summer the room doesn’t have ac, neither good cable tv, neither the hotel infrastructure do not have access for disable, neither emergency services in case of power outages (we had 12 hours without electricity). Requested a lamp to be able to walk around the unit and I never received.
