I had the best dinner at the restaurant . Chose a wine pairing option it was great . The location is excellent, I took the cosy and whilst very small it was quaint and just enough room for a solo traveler .

Excellent, clean rooms in a charming hotel. I was robbed several blocks from the hotel, and the staff were invaluable. Sadly, Bairro Alto is a cesspool overrun with pickpockets, pushers and drunk folks urinating and puking in the streets. That said, the hotel is excellent, and you can avoid the chaos and crime in Barrio Alto by staying out of the area, especially at night. The police are reluctant to file a report.

Room was spotless. Staff was courteous. Had to ask at 4 pm to clean the room. Was not informed upon arrival that my room was ready even though they said they would call us. Very unfortunate for this level of hotel.
