For a one-night stay, the place was adequate with good access to restaurants and grocery stores close by. The staff was attentive. The only downside was the noise level being close to the main street - cars and people alike.

Location: The area has tons of businesses nearby and there are numerous options for food with Indian being very prevalent.A small shoutout to Athiti Indian nearby for amazing food and staff. That said the area is noisy. Lots of emergency vehicle activity, and a subway that runs directly below the building that can be heard and felt every time. Cleanliness: Hotel seemed clean and nothing stood out as being in poor repair. No problem at all with the cleanliness of the facility. Staff: We had limited interactions but what we did have were typical of a hotel. Facilities/Function: Here is where this goes bad for us. There is no lift in the building. It does say that in the Expedia listing but only if you are looking for it specifically in the accessibility area. You will be carrying your bags up fairly tight wooden staircases. I am sure the response will be that they always help carry them but that isn't really the case. The staff member checking us in would have been willing to assist grudgingly but there are no bell hops or actual people there to assist you.

Cleanliness was amazing! The housekeepers were cleaning the rooms everyday. The two lady housekeepers helped us with our luggage by carrying the bags to our rooms. The entire staff is very helpful and have a phone number they answer 24 hours a day if you need help. Very impressive for a family run Hotel.

Would Absolutely Stay Again

We were only there for one night but excellent service and the room was great. The balcony would have been perfect to take advantage of more if we hadn't been needing to get to sleep early. Only downside: the sink basin was designed by someone who doesn't like you.

We loved staying at the Villa Garden Guest House. Our booking was like having our own little apartment and worked very well for the three of us! We never felt like there wasn’t enough space it was very beautiful. The only feedback I have is if you are staying here there are a lot of stairs and no elevator so be sure to consider this. There is a certain charm to the set of wooden stairs in the apartment building. If you are very strong and or if you just have a carry-on that would work really well. I do have to say the staff were very wonderful and carried our luggage up for us when we arrived from the reception desk onwards. The morning we left the reception area was closed so we did have to carry our luggage down which was OK cause we had a plan. However, the staff did give us the option of bringing our luggage down to the reception area the night before our departure where they would stash it and keep it safe, but we decided to keep our luggage with us as we needed some items. Other than this it was an absolutely perfect location and stay for us. The metro is very close by and honestly, it didn’t bother us at all if you could hear the little bit of vibration (only till 1:00am) We kept ourselves busy and we slept right through the night like babies, thank you so much Villa Garden Guest House for a lovely stay an amazing service.

It was very conveniently located. My room was clean but my mattress looked like there were some dust and hair underneath the bedsheet. I’m not sure if it was prepped on a rush, but everything else was nice and clean!

Comfortable stay

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen. Everything was good. We had a comfortable stay. The kitchen is a little old but very usable. There is only air conditioning inside the two bedrooms so keep that in mind if you want to utilize the bed in the living area. Bathroom is clean and updated condition. Beds are comfortable. All in all a good stay.

The place was really nice, clean, and close to the Metro. The front desk people were super helpful. The garden out back was a great place to hang. I'd totally stay there again if I'm ever in Lisbon.

Excellent stay. As is mentioned on the listing, you will need to carry your luggage up at least one flight of stairs to reception. We ended up on the top (fourth) floor, and had to carry our bags there too. Beyond that, everything was great. We were in a larger unit with four people and there were two A/C units, the bathroom was large, and it was nice to have a kitchen area too. Staff were very friendly, the garden is nice, and there are a ton of great restaurants in the area. Convenient to the airport and city center. We would not hestitate to stay here again.
