Good Location Hotel

The hotel was close to many transportation, sights and convenience stores. There is a large market Pingo Doce a few minutes walk away. Many restaurants and Gelaterias. Our room was clean, a bit small for US standards but had very good AC. Amenities are adequate. Elevators are small. Breakfast was included, in the restaurant located in the basement of the hotel (street level), it was excellent quality and plentiful. Overall a very good experience. This is an older hotel, not luxury but definitely has enough to offer at a reasonable price.

The hotel staff was able to help with questions on how to best get to the areas we wanted to visit and give us personal insights on getting around. Our shower floor was very slippery and they immediately put in a grab bar and floor mat. Do not have enough nice things to say about how wonderful they made our stay.

Great location, the staff was amazing, I regret not getting the staff’s names as they should get the credit they deserve. All the staff members were always courteous, helpful, and had a smile on their face. The area was close to a lot of the tourist attractions and you could always find something to do nearby.

Adored this hotel! The staff really make this place. Huge thanks to the ladies on reception who couldn't do enough for us and to the manager at checkout who was brilliant. Great room, fantastic location, close to everywhere, including being round the corner from Bifanas do Afonso. Plus, we had one of the best breakfasts ever at the hotel. The chef and lady serving at the till were so great! Can't recommend this place enough. Five stars all round. Highly recommended.

Excellent stay, very welcoming staff

Our stay was excellent, the location was perfect, quiet but still very much walking distance to a lot of nice restaurants, shops, etc. Can't say enough good things about the staff either, as soon as we've let them know that our flight back got cancelled, Bernard, the manager, did not hesitate for one sec to help us out (he offered a late check out if need be). We ended up staying an extra night and they were very accommodating. Everything was clean everytime we came back to our room at the end of the day. Would definitely stay here again next time we find ourselves in Lisbon!

Feedback to hotel as well Restaurant

All the front desk was so helpful. speacially the very first day of my Lisbon, Jessica the front desk receptionist welcomed me very well and provided me all the useful information. She arranged laundary me, was great help for me. All the night evening staff and evening staff was really helpful. Its my bad i wanted to mention every single staff member name but unfortunately i forgot the name. All girls and one guy front desk all really good. Only one thing made me disappointmnet was not having coffee machine and a small refregerator in the room. i did not know that if i choose COSY room option then i am not getting coffee machine and refrigerator. For me both are very basic necessatiies when you stay in the hotel. Regardless the price ofthe room, both these items should be in the room. I can not imagin my life without coffee. Yes they have one coffee machine on ground floor but it is not same as having coffee right away in the room when you wake up. Restaurant- Loraine the front desk desk help at restaurant was very polite, humble and very accomodating. The only one thing i need to add the option c Vegan breakfast not enough for a person. Choices are not as of option A but at same price.

I didn’t know what to expect when I booked this hotel but I was happy and very satisfied with my overall experience. The hotel’s location is very central. Outstanding hotel staff- friendly, very accommodating and helpful. My hotel room was clean with spacious bathroom, comfortable pillows and mattress. Westlight Lisboa Madalena is highly recommended to solo travelers, couples and families alike. I truly had a pleasant stay at this hotel and will stay here again when I return to Lisbon.
