Tamsin's Cottage is a light and spacious barn conversion well equipped with all modern conveniences. There are spectacular views of the countryside and valley extending into the distance. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with only the sounds of the birds for company, then look no further.

Upon entering the cottage, you'll be welcomed by a spacious and bright kitchen/living/dining area characterized by its vaulted ceilings. This area has been thoughtfully updated for 2025 with a brand new IKEA kitchen and stylish Karndean flooring that enhances both aesthetics and practicality.

Living/Dining Area:
The open-plan design allows for a seamless flow between cooking, dining, and relaxing spaces, making it perfect for socializing or enjoying quiet moments.

Bedrooms:
The cottage features two comfortable bedrooms, each with its own en-suite facilities:

Master Bedroom:
Furnished with a luxurious four-poster king bed, equipped with a new EMMA Next-Generation mattress (installed in 2024) for optimal comfort.

Second Bedroom:
Flexible sleeping arrangements, as it can be configured as either a twin (two single beds) or a double (one large bed). Just let us know your preference ahead of time.

Outside you will find a large private patio, perfect for that morning cup of coffee watching a diverse range of birds enjoying the bird feeder, or for an al-fresco barbeque (new gas BBQ in Summer 2024). There is also a 4-person heated hot-tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Cornwall's stunning coastal paths. It’s also a great way to relax under the stars, especially in our designated dark sky area where stargazing can be truly magical. If you have brought along your four-legged friend, the garden is walled, gated and secure. There is a public bridleway just in front of the cottage, ideal for an early morning or evening dog walk. We also have two fenced fields, where dogs may run and play off leash when there is no livestock in residence. Conveniently located just outside the garden gate, the dedicated car parking area ensures easy access to the cottage.

Solar panels and a ground-source heat pump provide central heating and hot water (backed up be electricity from renewable sources). We try to use eco-friendly products where possible.

Tamsin's Cottage is well placed for many beaches, towns and villages on the coast. Looe, Polperro, Lerryn and Fowey are all close by and the National Trust beach of Lansallos is a short drive away.

Eden Project: The famous Eden Project is 30 mins drive away.

Gardens & Stately Homes: Lanhydrock House is one of the National Trust's more popular properties and is only 20 minutes drive. The famous Lost Gardens of Heligan are also within easy reach.
