It was fair for the price. The hotel is old. The receptionist was not very helpful when we arrived. We had booked two rooms and they said we only had booked one. There was that problem checking in. If the receptionist had looked at my itinerary I was trying to show him he would had seen that one room was under my son’s name not mine. But he didn’t even do that. He just kept saying that hotels.com only sent him the booking for one room. Luckily there as another room available that we booked. But hotels.com was able to cancel the extra room and take care of my concerns.

The outside area was deserted looking when we were directed to the back side of the hotel to go to our room. The desk in our room was sticky. Not in just a small area but over the entire desktop.

Comfy bed, tasty breakfast

I did a quick overnight at this hotel as it was a halfway point to my final destination. Overall, the hotel was clean, but a little outdated. They were not busy when I stayed there. I had a dog with me and we were placed in a handicapped room that was fine. Bed and linens were clean yet incredibly comfortable. But the star of the show was the breakfast! Staff was friendly, prompt, attentive, and the food was very very good. I especially appreciated that they had turkey sausage. One of the best hotel breakfasts I have had. (Warm, fresh, good variety, etc.) Overall, a nice place to stay, not over the top, could use a little updating, excellent breakfast.
