Convenient for the Royal, quick check in. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms a good size, bed comfortable. Fridge in room with coffee and tea making facilities, alongside a few biscuits. Everywhere was very clean, good size shower with Rituals toiletries. Parking off site near by £20 per night which can be subsidised by the hotel to £14. Didn’t eat at the hotel so unable to comment on food. I did notice a coffee shop area offering discounts for NHS staff opposite the lifts. Would definitely stay again, a 4.5 star as no loyalty benefits offered despite showing on my booking.

The room here was very large, modern and very clean too. Breakfast was excellent. It was such a good location to grab an Uber for a five/ten minutes journey into the city centre. The location also meant there was no raid noise at all in the room.

Couldn’t sleep as mattress was very hard. Pillows were huge, like ones used on sofas, so uncomfortable. Room was very hot. Took a while to reduce temperature. We were facing a huge building, so absolutely no view. Hence room felt pretty dark. Breakfast standard. No parking so additional headache of going nearby to multi-storey parking. Town and restaurants about 15-20 minute walk.
