The welcome by the front of the house staff was superb. Very friendly and helpful and gave excellent recommendations for local restaurants and cafes. Booking in was quick and efficient. Room was lovely. Fabulous hot shower. Walking distance 5 /10 minutes to John Lewis which you can see from the hotel. 10 minute walk to Central station. Lots of cafes/restaurants/bars close by. We had a drink in the hotel bar which is very nice decor. Prices reasonable for a hotel. The bar staff were miserable and not friendly. At 9pm staff started setting the bar area up for breakfast which did not do anything for the relaxing atmosphere. Apart from this the hotel is wonderful and I would definitely recommend.

Nice if you aren’t disturbed by noise

Nice hotel but should have spent more money on soundproofing the rooms. As a light sleeper I was disturbed by noises from the next room and traffic/people in the streets. It was also hard to cool the room down

Great hotel but needs soundproofing

Lovely hotel, I had a room with a sofa bed but I was on my own and wasn’t expecting the sofa bed to be made, which made getting around the room really difficult as the sofa bed was between the bed and the bathroom / door. I was on the 6th floor and the room was still quite noisy from the bars down the street so it was really difficult to sleep. Everything else was perfect but as the sleep was the most important part of my trip I was disappointed.

I had an excellent stay at The Halyard Liverpool from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with hot chocolate and rum at reception—a thoughtful and unique touch that set the tone for a fantastic experience. The room was perfect—spacious, with the ideal temperature and top-notch facilities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with luxurious bed linen and pillows that made for a wonderful night’s sleep. Every detail was carefully considered to ensure maximum comfort. The bathroom amenities were outstanding—the shower gel and shampoo were the best I’ve ever used, adding a touch of luxury to my stay. Overall, The Halyard Liverpool exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay in Liverpool. I can’t wait to return!

Comfy and quiet

Bathroom wasn't the cleanest (bottle of cleaner also left in shower). I am being picky though. Food in restaurant is amazing with attentive staff. Comfy beds and very quiet.

We are a family of 3, stayed for 3 nights with breakfast and dinner included. The hotel is lovely, clean and quiet. We all slept well as there were no noise of banging doors, people walking in the hallway and no street noise either. Location is great as close to carpark, Albert Docks and the shopping mall. Nice restaurants around but we ate in the hotel. The food is delicious especially the breakfast. The size of the room is good. There are plenty of storage space. The bed is comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay again and recommend to friends who would like to visit Liverpool.
