Spent a couple nights here and realized we could’ve easily extended that to several nights with everything to do in the area. Of course, went to both the Zambian and Zimbabwean sides of Victoria Falls, and also arranged other tours through Fawlty Towers to do a game drive, sunset cruise, and walk with lions, all of which were amazing and memorable. The room was nice, with a sizable bathroom and comfortable beds. The public spaces were quite nice, where there’s a bar area (complete with African-inspired photos of Basil and company with the local tribes and animals) and outdoor tables next to the pool. We enjoyed the atmosphere and hospitality, and would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone looking to visit the area.

Outstanding Stay at Fairmount Hotel – Truly Felt Like Home! I had an exceptional experience staying at the Fairmount Hotel in Zambia. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. The staff were incredibly courteous, warm, and professional—special thanks to Esta and Allen who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, along with the rest of the amazing team. Our room was very clean and well-maintained, and to our surprise and delight, we were even upgraded at no extra cost. The hotel arranged smooth pick-up and drop-off service to and from the airport, which was a huge convenience. Even though our flight was at 6 PM, we were generously offered a complimentary late check-out and a complimentary lunch—something you don’t find everywhere. The food was consistently delicious, and the location is perfect—safe and within walking distance to great restaurants, museums, local craft markets, and only about 10 minutes from the airport and the breathtaking Victoria Falls. To top it all off, the hotel has a vibrant nightclub with VIP access and a complimentary first drink, which made our nights fun and memorable. I highly recommend the Fairmount Hotel to anyone visiting Livigstone, Zambia. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip. Thanks again to the entire team for making us feel right at home! Excellent location . Wonderful for visiting Victoria Falls and river cruise.

Wonderful property, staff and grounds were wonderful and top notch. We had the absolute best time at the hotel. Would return to the same hotel if we find ourselves back at Victoria Falls. The gym was also great, and we the animals (impala, zebras, giraffes, and monkeys) were everywhere, so fun to have them so close!
