Ok place for one day, not for multiple night stay

Breakfast was the only absolute great thing about this hotel. My room, AC did not work, upon bringing this as a need (not an issue) I was told "we've been having problem with AC", was told to open up the windows. Other suggestion was, after I try to open the window second night (after I already suffered the first night), if it still doesn't work, they can give me a portable fan. I was only staying for 3 nights. Bathroom is quite oddly shaped, the drains did work properly, took forever to drain the water in the sink as well was bathroom. I'd have to wait every few minutes to have the soap bath water drain before I can finishing up the shower or else you'd be standing in the same dirty bath water. Room service was almost non-existent when needed and when did not ask for it, they'd enter the room without permission. Hotel does not have an elevator (lift) at all. Location is ok, not the best, the hotel is in old town but away from the main square, quite far out of the main square and the walk was about 15 mins to the main square. This hotel is in the old square which has nothing around it. All restaurants, bars, shopping is in the main square. The front desk staff were very kind and friendly for the most part.

Lovely traditional style hotel located in the old town of Ljubljana but within easy walking distance to bars, restaurants, the castle and other sites. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was continental style and you could ask for scrambled eggs, fried eggs or an omelette. One day I was going out early on an excursion so they prepared me a breakfast box with a variety of items.

A good location to walk around the historic downtown area. Unfortunately the hotel cooling system was down, I had no idea when I booked through Expedia. They gave me a fan for my room and apparently I'll get 30% of my room charge back. For a $160 usd room, its an average room, very over priced. I'm disapointed.

Delightful hotel in classic period building. Spacious and stylish bedroom. Only shortcoming is lack of some amenities, such as tea/coffee maker, tissues, sufficient power sockets.

Very Nice Hotel

This was a very nice hotel on the edge of the old town pedestrian area. The breakfast was very good but had limited items. Some of the rooms would be difficult to get to due to the stairs if you have mobility issues. The bed was a typical firm European mattress. The location is excellent.

The only reason why I am not giving a 5 star on the property conditions is because the bed was uncomfortable, and we were given twin size duvet covers that stay on only if you stay still all night long. That was uncomfortable

Stayed in a suite, excellent size and comfortable, though a little tired and rough around the edges: missing light bulbs, no tea and coffee making facilities untill I asked for a kettle, sofa my missing cushions. Decent breakfast. Brilliant location and excellent front of house service, in particular Thomas who was super friendly and kind, and made us up a breakfast pack for our early 5am departure.

This is a beautiful and absolutely charming hotel. I was thrilled to reach the Allegro after a long day of traveling and find it to be so well-maintained and lovely. All of the staff members are extremely kind and helpful. My room was very clean and spacious and prettily decorated. The location could not be more convenient, within a short walk to everything in the central historic area. I recommend it highly and most certainly would stay here again.
