I stayed at this hotel in March 2025. Perfect location, close to everything. The old town is 5 minutes to walk. There are many shops in that area. Good public transportation. Staffs were very helpful and accommodating. My room was clean and functional and good value for the money. They offer a good breakfast!

City Hotel Ljubljana is not luxury, but my experience there was memorable. The location is excellent, within a few minutes walking distance to many places of interest, restaurants and bars. The hotel is well kept and clean, and the breakfast is excellent. Customers service was excellent as well, including they gave me a room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated. For all these reason, I would stay at this hotel again if I find myself again in beautiful Ljubljana.

Convenient and great value!!

Very conveniently located, clean, super nice staff. Breakfast is adequate, but after four days you wish there was some variety. Staff took care of me when I had a small fall in my room, even paying for the taxi that took me to the pharmacy. Highly recommend!!

When we arrived to the hotel, in the front desk was Jakob, remember that name because in my whole life I never met anyone as rude as that man. In the other hand, the hotel was really nice. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was amazing really good very varied. The neighborhood was really safe and walkable.

The place to stay.

Amazing. My only complaint is that I had to request a teaspoon at breakfast. Twice. None on the tables and none left at the coffee stand. I don't understand Europeans not placing spoons when setting tables for breakfast. Sigh. But seriously, stay here.
