Another great stay at the Marine

Another great stay at the Marine, love going in the pool as it never too busy. It’s great of an evening sitting in the bay windows watching the world go by with a glass of wine

Wouldn’t recommend. Room was freezing, kept up all night by the noise from the bar, room covered in cobwebs. Breakfast was highly disappointing.

Excellent hotel, staff very friendly. Can’t comment on food or drinks as we didn’t stay for these at the hotel. Room was outdated a bit but didn’t spoil the stay. Only downside of this short stay was internet service is very bad in that area and the hotel WiFi didn’t let us connect and when it did was only 1 bar and kept on disconnecting

The staff were not particularly friendly, the property was not very clean, the decoration in our room looked like a child had been let loose with a paintbrush. The carpet was stained. The lounge area in the bar was dirty. We ordered a sandwich for lunch, it took 40 minutes to arrive. (It wasn’t busy) The menu for dinner was pie or fish, we cancelled the table. The noise from other residents (not hotel’s fault) throughout the night was dreadful. No phone in room so unable to contact reception. All in all dreadful. I would not recommend this hotel.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid as needs decorating and a good scrub ... bathroom ridiculously small and shower cubicle doesn't fit a cold even.......the food is really disappointing and inedible... poor choice of food

Great location , comfortable bed , great breakfast good choice tasty & hot . Would recommend . Staff professional & friendly . Room for improvement pool changing area closed so had to dry at pool area & no shower at the pool to be able to shower prior to getting in pool . shouldn’t have to pay to use a towel if you are a guest . Heated towel rail not working in bathroom . Overall great stay .

Not very friendly staff. Swimming pool was filthy and one day my shower in my room didnt even work. While it was fixed the same day they didnt even apologise just reacted like its something that happens often. They never had enough pastry for all breakfast goes either

The room we were given a partial sea view, which was excellent. Our only criticism with the room was the layout, as there werent bedside tables on both sides, there was a big wardrobe, which could have been put elsewhere in the room. Other than that, it was excellent.

Lovely staff , breakfast was great perfect location great ,only one thing had to wait for tv for one of nights as wasn’t working but got sorted the next day room okay for couple of nights stay would visit again
