The unique lodge is located on a fifty acre small holding over looking two lakes in scenic Gwendraeth Valley.. Ground Floor:

Bedroom: Galleried, Double (4ft 6in) Bed. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request.. Lawned garden with decking, garden furniture and BBQ. Hot tub for 3 (private). Fishing on-site (licence required). Parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced lake in the grounds, 5 yards away from property. The property has a natural water supply from a spring.. Discover Heron Lodge perched on the edge of its own private lake. This stunning timber lodge is in the perfect location to explore the delights that Carmarthenshire has to offer near to the hamlet of Five Roads. It is located on a fifty acre small holding encompassing two lakes in the scenic Gwendraeth Valley. Imagine awaking each morning with views out over the lake and the wooded hillside beyond, and in an evening, you may enjoy a glass of wine in your own hot tub on the raised decking area. Relax here and watch the sun set after a warm summer’s day. The lodge has been thoughtfully furnished to a very good standard and offers floor to ceiling windows to the make the most of the views. The mezzanine master bedroom overlooks the lake where you can watch an abundance of wildlife. The property is centrally located with walks on-site and a cycle track nearby and is ideal to explore one of Wales’ top attractions, Pembrey Country Park with its many footpaths, 8 miles of golden sandy beach, 550 acres of woodlands, dri-ski slope and the longest toboggan run in Wales. A trip to Carmarthenshire is not complete without a visit to Laugharne, which was formerly home to famous Welsh poet Dylan Thomas. There are many historic castles nearby and Ffos Las race course is 3 miles away. A 40-minute drive and you can visit the stunning Gower Peninsula which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and definitely worth a visit, or travelling west, Oakwood, Folly Farm and the famous walled town of Tenby. Beach 4 miles. Pub and restaurant 2 miles.
