Small room, no heating available in mid-Sept despite a strong wind blowing through the bedroom door which opened straight to the outside. No curtain or blind to cover the window in the door so very bright in the morning.
Easy self check-in and out. Noise from the pub downstairs but not particularly loud. Other guests doors banged loudly though whenever they came in or out.
Easy access via key code. Room was small but ideal for an overnight stay. It was clean had an en-suite wallmounted TV and double bed wa comfy. Well locted with short walk to all amenities.
Stopped for one night as joining friends for the day. Easy check in was sent all details which were easy to follow. Room clean and tidy, bed ok mattress not the most comfortable but for price it was fine. Shower lovely and hot.
Very good position relative to the town centre but a little noisy at night as on the A5. The actual pub was closed while we were there so can't comment on any noise from downstairs.
One or two little snags which I managed to work around.
The place is super noisy at nights and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The room was too expensive for what it was.

What a find this one is, ideal for the town and surrounding area. Car park handily at the side by the church.
Lovely clean room, brilliant shower and easy check in.
There are steps though so need to be mindful of that.
There is noise from the passing traffic and it’s constant but we knew about that in advance so no complaints about that.
My one complaint is that the mattress needs to be changed, it’s dreadfully uncomfortable, springs stick in you and make sleeping tricky.
Change the mattress and we’d definitely stay again. Thank you for having us.
Rooms were very clean, bed was comfy. Lots of road noise though, but it is on a busy road. Shame pub was shut, we were there for a concert and got thirsty! Would stay again.
The hotel room was really nice but we had no amenities at all. It looked as if they were not expecting anyone. there were no towels at all and as we arrived at 11pm there was no one to ask. We texted the owner and he said he would leave some at reception in the morning but that didnt happen. The shampoo / shower gel dispensers were empty and there was no mattress topper on the bed . The room was however very clean and comfortable so we would stay again, providing we could get the amenities
It was perfect for a night or 2. I tried contacting the owner before hand to ask booking in time and how to get in but no reply so we were hanging around hoping. More communication would be great, however the rooms were small and had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean, pure white towels, clean bedding and plenty of sockets. Lovely outside seating area. Will definitely return.
Convinient for the town centre, clean and tidy, easy check in once we got the details. Road noise in the room we had was terrible and spoilt our stay luckily the pub was closed otherwise I think that would also be a problem in the front rooms as it's a late opening, so glad we were only stopping one night.
Didn't receive any correspondence from the hotel owners regarding check in details.
Didn't receive pin number for the front door entry or which room we were allocated to.
Tried to call the owners several times!!
Also left message on voice mail.
And tried tx message them.
