Family & Pet Friendly Restored Cottage in East Mayo with 4* Bord Failte Award

Built by the Congested District Board in 1903, this beautiful cottage has been completely renovated to provide pet and family friendly self catering which has a 4* rating with the Irish Tourist Authority. Situated in the small village of Bracklagh, it has been finished to a very high standard with a new bathroom and kitchen, ensuite wet room, wood/peat burning stove, saorview tv, bluetooth speaker, digital Roberts radio, linen & towels from The White Company, underfloor heating via a groundwater heat pump and most of the electricity provided by a ground mount solar array.. A refurbished hay barn is ideal for parking, while a second, lockable barn is available to store bikes, surfboards and the like. Bracklagh is very quiet and a haven for wildlife – particularly hares and well behaved dogs are VERY welcome.
Make yourself comfortable in this cottage, which features a fireplace. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Digital programming and a DVD player are provided for your entertainment, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker, and housekeeping is provided on request.
