Notting Hill is one of those London neighbourhoods that guests arrive in and immediately feel they`ve found the city they came to see. The colourful houses. The market. The independent restaurants and boutiques. The sense that something interesting is always happening nearby. This apartment puts you right in the middle of it — on one of the neighbourhood`s most beautiful and tranquil Victorian streets.
THE APARTMENT
A stylish, well-appointed one-bedroom apartment on a quiet, tree-lined cul-de-sac built between 1869 and 1873, just off Notting Hill Gate. The apartment is on the ground floor of a well-maintained period building, accessed via a shared communal entrance with no stairs to climb at any point. It is completely step-free from the street to the apartment door — the only property in our portfolio with this, and an exceptional convenience for families with pushchairs, guests with mobility considerations, or anyone arriving with luggage after a long journey.
The double bedroom has full built-in wardrobe storage and high-quality linen. The bathroom has a shower, heated towel rail, hotel-quality towels, hairdryer, shower amenities, and shaver charging point. The open-plan living and kitchen area has a Smart TV and a sofa bed always made up and ready to use — extra pillows and blankets provided. A welcoming hallway with ample built-in storage makes the apartment especially practical for longer stays.
The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and cooking utensils. Both a washing machine and tumble dryer are included — a practical combination that most comparable apartments in the area don`t offer, and invaluable for family stays or longer visits. A dedicated desk and fast Wi-Fi are available throughout. Window AC units and fans are fitted during the warmer months.
CHECK-IN
A member of our team meets every guest at the property on arrival. Awarded Guest Favourite status and highly rated for check-in and location. No lockboxes — a real person hands over the keys and makes sure you`re settled before leaving you in peace.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Located on one of those streets that surprises guests — completely central, genuinely calm. Kensington Gardens is 150 metres to the east — one of London`s most beautiful Royal Parks, home to Kensington Palace, the Albert Memorial, the Serpentine Gallery, and the Diana Memorial Playground. You can walk there in two minutes from the front door. Portobello Road Market is a short walk to the west, with its famous antiques, food stalls, and independent boutiques. Notting Hill Gate itself offers restaurants, cafés, bars, and supermarkets in every direction.
