Superb hotel in a great location

Wives not welcome without their husbands….

I had booked the room under my hisband’s name and was meeting him there. I arrived first, well past the 3pm check in time. I wasn’t allowed in! Despite having all of the booking details, the same surname and the same address I was told that I wasn’t allowed in to the room until my husband arrived. I was told I could go and have a drink in the bar to wait. At this point I had no idea how long my husband would be as he was in a business meeting when I tried to call him. I have met him dozens of times at hotels over the years, always arriving first with never an issue. I was treated by the staff like a scammer or prostitute, it was deeply embarrassing. When we were finally allowed in to the room, the hotel itself was nice enough but bad service tainted our stay. We won’t be returning.

Wonderful spot in a very walkable area of the city. I would recommend the hotel to anyone on a weekend stay. Loved the view and the soundproofing.

Unique hotel, very good service, staff so attentive. Room was amazing. If i had to pick at anything it would be that the soaps/ shampoos etc in the bathroom were empty and the bedroom tv not working properly but as we only stayed one night it wasnt an issue.

Great location, amazing view, wonderful amenities, pool is beautiful, access to stream room and sauna, underground and bus stops very close by. The only downside was that the floor of the room was never swept or cleaned.

Looks & feels new (April '25). Really clean & high standard. Room was superb, and hotel generally feels really high quality. Restaurant was okay albeit probably the least impressive part of the whole experience. I'd definitely stay again if I could get a deal sub-£200

Amazing Hotel

We loved our stay at art’otel london Hoxton, from the moment we entered the hotel we were amazed how nice it was, staff were very friendly and polite and the hotel itself is just amazing even our two boys aged 7&9 loved it and as we arrived at the reception we were greeted by a member of staff offering us cold refreshments and the boys got their Easter Eggs so it was a perfect start. Rooms are spacious clean and very modern with a beautiful view of the city. Breakfast was delicious. We couldn’t fault anything really. We are asked for a room as close to the top as possible as our boys love the views of city’s from higher above and the hotel staff gave us a room at 21st floor and we loved it. Thanks to all staff and management

Excellent hotel. Location was perfect for exploring Shoreditch etc., and also some very good restaurants and bars in Hoxton. Decoration and service in the hotel were amazing, including the lobby / bar area which was nice and quiet. Accessibility was also good with escalators and / or lifts for all floors. Rooms were excellent - very spacious, comfortable beds, plenty of storage, availability of tea / coffee etc. Bathroom was great with an amazing shower & bath products. Great value - would absolutely stay again.

Fantastic new hotel!

Absolutely fantastic stay! Service was great and the room was very clean with amazing views. The spa was excellent and so was the live music in the bar in the evening. For the price I would definitely return.
