Try to avoid.

Flies buzzing all over the lobby bathroom. Smell of sewage in my room. They didn’t advise me that I needed to specifically ask to have the room serviced. Climate controls weren’t working - always too cold in the room. Water temp ironically was far too hot. Very sketchy street corner outside.

This hotel was in a perfect location. Very central and close to Victoria Station. It has a cool vibe and a vibrant lobby that’s always busy with guests working and mingling. The bar and restaurant are available 24/7. The staff was helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

Clean, well run, and good value for money

Excellent breakfast selection. Rooms are small as expected, so one person has to climb over the other to get in or out. Bed was very comfortable. very close to Victoria Station for trains and Underground. London seems to have homeless living on the street wherever you go. This hotel is no exception. Some of these seem to suffer from shouting and screaming fits, and should be avoided. Check-in and Check-out available 24/7, very efficient and helpful

The room greatly surprised us. It was the size of a cruise ship room and all the electronics were controlled with an ipad. It was not particularly user friendly for those over 60 years of age. I'd consider it adequate but not comfortable.

Room even though very small was very comfortable. Comfortable bed and had great black out shades which were needed for the early sunrise. A/C worked very well. Rain shower was so great. Loved our stay.

Our check-in was uninspiring; the booking could not be found. The girl helping us looked into it and realised my surname was incorrect, but instead of checking us in (as she had retrieved the booking), she directed us to re-enter the surname again into the iPad. We did not feel like valued clients, it felt very transactional. The room had an iPad in it too, to control the lights and blinds - it was confusing and a lot of effort to use. The room was also freezing cold and the sink was blocked and draining very slowly. We went down to the bar to have a drink and were not acknowledged by either the bar man or the other staff member who was sitting up the bar, on a bar stool, filling in paper work. A little 'hello, I'll be with you in minute' , wouldn't have gone amiss. Finally, the rooms do not have irons. Instead, there is a tiny, stuffy, dark room called Iron Heaven, which should really be called Iron Hell as it was not only incredibly warm but also so badly lit that I could not see whether or not the creases were being ironed out. I do not feel that Citizen M is the right kind of hotel if you want to feel like a valued customer, if you like to have the receptionist speak with you about the hotel and if you can't stand overly-loud music in the lobby. If, on the other hand, you want a transactional kind of fast-food type stay, then Citizen M is the place for you.

Highly recommend!

Great stay! Check in was super easy and straightforward with the option for a late checkout with a the cost details up front. Room was exceptionally clean and the bamed was large and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and very attentive.
