The property is in good location for shopping and restaurants. The room was clean. Outside property needs maintenance concrete is chipped on balcony. Door to room sticks and makes noise when opened and closed so couldn’t leave room while someone was sleeping without waking them. Stairs were dirty.

Definitely wouldn’t stay again. Seemed like some unsavoury people around. The room was so dated and didn’t seem very clean. We slept in our clothes on top of the covers. While I know that it was a cheap room I expected it to be a little bit better. The staff seemed nice though

I arrived to a unique character at the front desk who clenched his teeth as he spoke. I showed him my drivers license and proceeded to pull out my health card for further identification. He warned me about NOT sharing my health card info or social insurance number as he bit down on his teeth. He wanted to warn me about the potential for theft. I appreciated his advice and concern. His delivery reminded me of a character from a David Lynch movie. The long hallway of strangely shaped sci fi windows, overlooking the pool, were covered in a tacky peel and stick. I proceeded to walk down endless hallways of dirt covered carpeting. The hall painter was either drunk or an amateur. He’d clearly spilled paint on the carpet. The unfinished frames around all the doors added to the unsettling strangeness. I felt like I was in a bizarre horror movie, at that point. I raced hoping to arrive at my second floor room asap. The room was a vast improvement from the endless halls. I half expected to see young twins spouting, “red rum..red run”. The bed was comfortable. The energy in the room and in the halls were ideal for a haunted hotels episode. I quickly became aware of a heavy presence in both the hall and in my room. I said a prayer and slept well. The next morning the halls were no less off-putting. The woman at the front desk was nice and helpful. Hope this helps.
